The Poodle is a Medium/Large dog that was originally bred as a water retriever/gun dog. They have thick curly coats that need regular grooming. An extremely intelligent dog with high learning capability, very easy to train. Poodles are good with all people including children and are also good with other animals. An active dog that requires regular exercise.
