The Rough Collie is a large dog originally bred as a working sheep dog. They have a long dense coat that requires regular grooming. An active dog that needs lots of exercise. A highly intelligent dog they are very receptive to training and obedience. A devoted family dog, the Rough Collie is tolerant of children, animals and strangers.
