The Border Collie is a large dog originally bred as a working sheep dog. A very loyal and intelligent dog they are very obedient. A very active dog that requires plenty of regular exercise and a large yard to run around in. The Border Collie is tolerant to animals and strangers, but because it's a large dog should be watched around small children.
